Registration
Sign in to register for the June FTI in Washington, D.C., June 26-29, 2023. If you do not already have an AAPT account, you can set up a free AAPT account by clicking the above “create an account” link.

The June 2023 FTI will be held at the Hamilton Hotel in downtown Washington, DC. Please do not make your own hotel reservations. We will make hotel reservations for you.  Hotel room costs and dinner on day one, along with all breakfast and lunch expenses, will be paid directly by our National Science Foundation grant.

The registration information below is being requested both to provide formal registration information and to allow the presenters to tailor the workshop to support participants as effectively as possible.

Please complete the registration as soon as possible, but certainly before March 31, 2023.

Once your registration is submitted, you should receive a confirmation email message. If you do not receive that confirmation email within a few hours, please contact [email protected]. You will be emailed links in April to two follow-up questionnaires: one asking for anonymous demographic information and the second asking you about your career interests and faculty professional development opportunities on your home campus. This information must be provided to fully participate in the program.

By registering for the workshop, you agree to receive post-workshop relevant email communications from AAPT, APS, and the FTI program evaluator about FTI programming. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Financial Support
Our NSF grant provides partial registration and travel support for participants from departments
with severely constrained financial resources. Preference will be given to faculty from minority-
serving institutions if demand exceeds the available funds. For further information and to apply
for those funds, please email Bob Hilborn ([email protected]).
