Registration Process

Step 1:  Sign In using your email address as your username.  Username and password are case-sensitive.  Note that Registration Options are not available until you sign in.

Step 2:   Use the Register Myself button to select your registration option.

Remember to answer any questions that are required for each registration option you pick.  Use the Update Responses button to save your responses to the questions.

Step 3:  Use the Next button to proceed to the selection of registration items (workshops, etc.) or to go to checkout.

Spouse/Guest Registration: You cannot register a colleague, student, fellow physicist or anyone that submits and abstract as a spouse/guest. 

Photo Release:
AAPT and its legal representatives and assigns, retain the right and permission to publish, without charge, photographs taken during this event. These photographs may be used in publications, including electronic publications, or in audio-visual presentations, promotional literature, advertising, or in other similar ways.

Any visit to Florida would not be complete without taking a tour of the Kennedy Space Center in Cocoa Beach, just 45 minutes from Orlando. The AAPT tour of Kennedy Space Center leaves the hotel by bus at 830AM on Sunday January 19, arrives at Space Center at 930am, for entrance and an immediate 45 minute bus tour of the launch facilities and return to the main NASA Visitor Center. There are many, many very exciting things to do at the Visitor  Center including: the new Astronaut Hall of Fame (from Project Mercury to the Space Shuttle Program, see where American astronauts are remembered and honored), Rocket Garden (Walk among giants to see rockets from NASA’s Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs. Guided tours available daily), Astronaut Encounter (Meet an astronaut during a live presentation at Universe Theater, included with daily admission. Bring your questions and your camera!), Moonscape (See the real Lunar Module 9 with a life-sized scene from the Apollo 11 Moon landing.), Lunar Theater (Relive the final few minutes leading up to the first words ever spoken from the surface of the Moon, “…the Eagle has landed.”), Hubble Space Telescope Theater (Learn about the successes, setbacks and spinoffs of Hubble Space Telescope, the first of NASA’s Great Space Observatories.), the actual unforgettable HUGE Saturn V Rocket (Every human who stepped foot on the Moon launched from Kennedy Space Center atop a Saturn V rocket. Learn about the power of this rocket and imagine what it was like to launch into space on this massive machine.) and MUCH, MUCH MORE! Our bus will leave the NASA Complex at 330pm to arrive back at the hotel by 430pm for the evening activities at the Conference. Please don’t miss this opportunity to experience the best that NASA has to offer in education and entertainment.
